Tuesday: 40 min easy run, conversational pace

The calf handled Saturday’s run fine and yesterday was a rest day, so today is 40 minutes easy — fully conversational, nothing clever. If it grumbles inside the first ten minutes, swap to the bike and tomorrow gets rebuilt around that.

Reply to tell it anything. Or don’t — tomorrow arrives either way.

The actual product: one email like this, every morning.

Meet Attuna

Finally, a coach that actually gets you.

It remembersBad knee, no pool, training after bedtime. Say it once; every session works around it.
No race requiredNothing in the calendar? You still get today’s session. Add a race whenever you like.
Restarts with youMissed three weeks? It rebuilds from where you are, not where you left off.

A few quick questions. They’re how I work out whether this suits you.

Have you got a race in the calendar?
Main sport right now
Carrying anything, or seeing a physio?

Just the category — no details here. Those can wait for the onboarding chat, and only if you get a place.

Optional · helps my research

These don’t affect whether you get a place. Skip any of them; answers just help me understand who this is for.

Have you ever thought about getting a coach and decided against it?

Tick everything that applies. If you’ve never considered one, say that.

What do you currently pay for in your training?

Tick everything. Where your money already goes is the clearest signal of what you actually value, which is why I ask that instead of what you’d spend.

And where are you with that spending?

What made you click, what you’d want it to do, or where you think I’ve got this wrong. This is the box I read first.

Applying doesn’t commit you to anything. The eight weeks are free. If you want to carry on afterwards, I’ll ask you then.

The fine print

Who’s behind this

Tor, Attuna’s founder, at the finish of the Busselton Festival of Triathlon

I’m Tor, an age-group triathlete in Perth with two young kids and a full-time job in IT.

I’d rather build sustainable healthy habits so that I can still be doing this at sixty — and every plan I bought was the opposite of that. So I built the thing instead. It accommodated my physio’s loading recommendations when my Achilles was flaring up. It knew my training happens after the kids go to bed. It got me to the finish line in that photo. Twenty places, eight weeks, and I’d rather find out properly from twenty people than badly from three hundred.
